How does Botox work?
Botox works to temporarily stop a muscle - or muscles – from being able to move. As a result of this, your face isn’t able to ‘crease’ and thus wrinkles are instantly relaxed and smoothed.
Thanks to Botox’s ability to stop your body from being able to respond to signals from your brain, it’s also an effective tool if you grind your teeth.

Botox is temporary. In general, you should expect to enjoy results for around three to four months.

There is no 'best' age for when you should start having Botox – it's all down to personal preference. While some clients first try Botox as a preventative treatment whilst still in their 20s or early 30s, other clients decide to have this treatment when they’ve got actual wrinkles to address.

You may feel a little stinging at the site of injection, but Botox is a treatment that is easily tolerated by most. If you’re afraid of needles, or you’re at all worried, we can use a topical numbing agent to ensure any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum.
