#Stayhome - Coronavirus Update
We hope that you, your family and all loved ones are safe and well.
Saira and I have hesitated before sending this email. We are fully aware that currently everyone of us will have so much and so many thoughts of our own to deal with. As such I truly did not know how to or indeed want to send out more information into your inbox.
However, as we have received enquiries and such lovely emails of support from so many of our clients we are hoping that it now helps to provide an update.
Last week Saira and I made the decision to close (temporarily) our lovely little Victoria Park clinic. As you may be aware Saira’s background and passion is her Medical experience. Having spent 10 years working in A&E and ICU units she is very aware of the pressures her wonderful colleagues are currently facing. Indeed, she would have her hospital scrubs straight back on were it not for being 34 weeks into her pregnancy.
And fully back on the NHS frontline is where our colleagues Rachel and Dean are. It’s where they’re needed. We're just so very proud of them. So as a team we’re in full agreement. The priority right now is to do as we are told. To stand in solidarity and help our amazing NHS and other key workers to get on with protecting the most vulnerable.
And once that task is done Skin and Sanctuary and all our wonderful Victoria Park neighbours will reopen.
In the meantime our skin care geeks will keep you updated on all things skin. The sun’s been out and Fatma’s been telling me her clients need reminding about changing their skincare routine - and wearing SPF of course. The clinic phone-line is staying open so we can answer any questions and as the rest of the team are so much better than me with technology we’ll soon have online consults set up.
At this stage though we’d just ask that you kindly read the below. And most importantly take this opportunity to pass on our most heartfelt wishes.
Scheduled Appointments
All bookings will be cancelled. Eloise and I will be in touch with everyone who has a booking coming up to ensure this message is received. At this stage we cannot say when appointments may be rescheduled to but as soon as we do we’ll be in touch. All deposits will be refunded.
Reviews
Everyone who has a Botox review scheduled will be offered an opportunity to speak with their Medical Practitioner. As the clinic needs to stay closed we are unable to do any adjustments until we open again.
Existing Consultations and Online Consultations
All physical consultations booked at the Clinic will be cancelled for the time being. However, we will be offering complimentary Skype/Facetime/Zoom meetings for all those that need a little skin boost. If this is something that you or a friend would be interested in please let me know.
Instagram & Facebook
Please join us @skinandsanctuary as the team will be sharing their skin-care knowledge and tips.
As mentioned above it is proving difficult to have anything to say at the moment. Our first role is to do our bit - to stay at home to help our NHS and all the other superheroes out there to protect our loved ones.
