“Live beautifully” — and live bravely

At Skin & Sanctuary, we believe that wellness is more than skin deep—it’s about embracing life richly, meaningfully, and beautifully. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Abi Jameson’s Empower Her exhibition to our Shoreditch sanctuary - a space once an art gallery, now a medical‑wellness clinic, carrying forward a proud artistic legacy

Meet the artist: Abi Jameson

Abi, an award‑winning painter, describes a turning point in her career: in 2013, two benign tumours severely impacted her eyesight. She lost 70% of her vision, yet found that "losing her sight but gaining her artistic passion" Using magnifying glasses, she relearned how to paint, achieving deeply expressive portraits that explore resilience, identity, and femininity

Her evolving technique blurs foreground and background, reflecting how she visually perceives the world - a creative, intuitive dance between chaos and calm

Shoreditch’s creative heritage

Shoreditch has long been a creative hub — from street murals to studio collectives, it’s a neighbourhood defined by bold expression and community spirit. Exhibiting Abi’s work here feels like a perfect match: her story of recovery and reinvention resonates deeply with the area’s artistic bravery.

Why a clinic is showing art

Skin & Sanctuary is more than aesthetic treatments — it’s a medical‑wellness clinic rooted in holistic care: nurturing body, mind, and spirit. By hosting Empower Her, we invite our clients and community to pause, reflect, and be inspired — living beautifully and bravely, just like Abi has.

A chance to win

As part of the exhibition, there’s a giveaway to win a piece of Abi’s art — another beautiful way we’re saying thank you to our East London community. Whether you’re here for a facial, a treatment, or spiritual well‑being, this moment is for you.
